2018 Sandford St Martin Awards are now open for entries
The Sandford St Martin Trust has been making annual awards for the best broadcast programmes about religion, ethics or spirituality since 1978 – which means 2018 will mark the Trust’s 40th anniversary.
During that time our winners have included Joan Bakewell, Rabbi Lionel Blue, Frank Cottrell Boyce, Melvyn Bragg, Olivia Colman, Lyse Doucet, Ian Hislop, Tom Hollander, Howard Jacobson, Tony Jordan, Faris Kermani, Rashid Khan, Sally Magnusson, Rageh Omar, Sally Phillips, Tony Robinson, Chief Rabbi Jonathan Sacks, Simon Schama and David Suchet among many others. And it has been an honour and a privilege to work with them all.
We believe that good broadcasting about religion and ethics matters – possibly more today than ever before. So if you made a programme broadcast during 2017 that explores who we are, what we believe, why we believe and/or what are the consequences, then we hope you’ll consider entering.
