The 2018 Awards are now closed for entries

The 2018 Sandford St Martin Awards closed to entries on 31 January 2018 and winners were announced at Lambeth Palace on 7 June.

You can find out more about the winners and the shortlists or meet our 2018 judging panels here.

Entering the 2019 Awards

Entry criteria and entry forms will be published in November 2018.

If you’ve made a programme or a series exploring religion, ethics, spirituality or belief broadcast or published for the first time between 1 January and 31 December 2018, then you may be eligible to enter the 2019 Awards.

If you would like to enter a series, please send us two representative episodes/installments attached to a single entry form.

For single or stand-alone programme entries, production units or companies should enter no more than two programmes/episodes from the same strand in the same category.  Each episode will be deemed a separate entry and will require its own entry form.

Is your programme eligible?  You can read 2018 eligibility criteria here.

Radio and TV entries should be submitted electronically where possible – either as a downloadable electronic file via ftp, a file posted to us on a USB stick, or, as a password-protected link to your content on a media streaming  site such as Vimeo, WeTransfer, SoundCloud etc.

All digital files should be clearly named and that the programme name on the digital file must match the programme name on your entry form.

Please note: Because they have inbuilt expiry dates, we are unable to accept links to iPlayer,  ALL4 or similar platforms as entries.  Instead, please submit a complete audio/video file of your programme(s).

Prior to sending us any media files please do refer to our technical requirements.  These can be downloaded here.
