Claire Hoang is a social media expert with over 20 years’ experience working across broadcast, media and marketing.     

Her employers have included BBC, Group M, Fremantle, Arts Council England, Thomas Cook Airlines and Dentsu Aegis. Her career started in community radio but has extended across media to include work on shows ranging from Strictly to The Greatest Dancer, This Morning and Coronation Street. Currently she’s the VP of Social Media for ITV Studios. 

Her experience in charity and funding includes having been a regional committee member for Children in Need as well as for regional Arts and Film Councils.  She’s sat on the board of the Greater Manchester Council of Voluntary Organisations and on Manchester Council’s Cultural Steering Group.   

Claire’s been a judge for The Royal Television Society, Broadcast and the Global Social Media Awards.   

In her personal and professional life she is an active and strong advocate for social mobility. She mentors with Creative Access, has volunteered with the Media Trust and the Princes’ Trust. She also sits as co-deputy chair for ‘Embrace’ the cultural diversity network for ITV.
