2018 Sandford St Martin Awards Shortlists
Congratulations to those programmes shortlisted for a 2018 Sandford St Martin Award.
Such is the quality of the entries the Trust receives that winnowing the list of excellent entries down to a scant shortlist of only six programmes in each category gets more and more difficult every year. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Awards and, looking back at our archive, what becomes clear is that the creativity, resourcefulness, ingenuity and gift for storytelling demonstrated by those of you making programmes about religion, belief, ethics and what our 2016 judge Frank Cottrell Boyce called “the big questions” continue to grow.
Our congratulations to all our entrants this year but especially to those programmes shortlisted and listed below. You can find out more about each of them by clicking on their name.
Don’t forget: you can vote for your favourite programme exploring religion, ethics or belief in the Sandford St Martin Radio Times Readers’ Award until May 21.
Winners will be announced at the 2018 Sandford St Martin Awards ceremony at Lambeth Palace on 7 June.
