SANDFORD ST MARTIN AWARDS 2020 SHORTLISTS

Ask any of our shortlisters and they’ll tell you that the process of compiling the Sandford St Martin shortlists is never easy.  A bit like comparing apples with pears with oranges with elephants – challenging and sometimes controversial.  Add to that febrile atmosphere the fact that in the midst of this year’s shortlisting process, suddenly and dramatically, the world changed and our lives with it.

Against the backdrop of Covid-19, it’s been heartening and inspirational to have had the opportunity to watch and listen to your entries this year.  These are strange and uncertain days and, while it’s always a privilege to review the shortlists, the broadcast content represented here has served as a reminder of what ultimately brings and holds us together, and then inspires us to keep looking forward. Thank you for that.

Particular congratulations to those entries shortlisted for an award;  you can find out more about all of them by clicking on the programme names below.  Congratulations to you all.

Winners will be announced in a special digitally streamed ceremony Sandford St Martin Awards 2020 on June 11th.
