Dr Tony Stoller CBE

Chair
Tony Stoller has been a leading figure in radio and broadcasting for much of his career. He was Chief Executive of the Radio Authority and helped to set up Ofcom when that took over communications regulation. Tony was awarded a CBE for services to broadcasting in 2004. He is currently Chair of Orchestras Live and Visiting Professor in the History, Law and Humanities Department at Bournemouth University.
Ngunan Adamu

Trustee
Ngunan Adamu produces and presents BBC Merseyside’s popular ‘Upfront‘ programme. She is also the founder and CEO of iWoman Media – a peer to peer organisation set up by women to empower, entertain, explore and inspire women around the world.
Aaqil Ahmed

Trustee
Aaqil Ahmed is an award-winning Television executive having enjoyed a 25-year career at the BBC and Channel 4, during which time he became the only person to be Head of Religion and Ethics at both broadcasters as well as Head of Multicultural Programming at Channel 4. Today, Aaqil is a Professor of media at the University of Bolton; a public speaker and writer on diversity, media, leadership and religion as well as an advisor to a number of organisations on communication and strategy.
Bridget Cass

Trustee
Bridget Cass was the Executive for The Jerusalem Trust, one of the Sainsbury Family Charitable Trusts and a director of Jerusalem Productions from 1991 to 2018.
Tim Daykin

Trustee
Tim Daykin is currently a member of the Chapter at Salisbury Cathedral, a role he took up after stepping away from his work in broadcasting in 2020.
Claire Hoang

Trustee
Claire Hoang is a social media expert who has worked for the BBC, Group M, Fremantle, Arts Council England, Thomas Cook Airlines and Dentsu Aegis and has included work on shows ranging from Strictly to The Greatest Dancer, This Morning and Coronation Street. Currently she’s the VP of Social Media for ITV Studios. .
Duncan Irvine

Trustee and Chair of the Finance Group
Duncan Irvine is a career banker having worked in a variety of roles in the UK and Canada and currently working for Barclays Bank.
Tom Loxley

Trustee
Tom Loxley is a writer, journalist and the executive editor of The Radio Times.
Tommy Nagra

Trustee
Tommy Nagra is Director of Content for BBC Children In Need. His previous roles include: Senior Project Director, BBC Radio and Education; Head of Television for BBC Religion & Ethics; Head of Channel Development & Partnerships for BBC Children’s; Head of Business Development, BBC Birmingham; Head of Specialist Factual at Maverick Television; Channel Development Executive for BBC Two; and formerly Head of the Asian Programmes Unit in the 1990’s.
The Rt Revd Bev Mason

Trustee
The Rt Revd Bev Mason is a British Anglican bishop. Since 2018, she has served as the Bishop of Warrington, a suffragan bishop in the Diocese of Liverpool.
David Strachan

Trustee
As the founding managing director of Tern Television, David Strachan took the company from its small start in Aberdeen in 1988, through expansion to Glasgow (2000) and Belfast (2007) and its sale to Zinc Media in 2018. Since stepping down as Tern MD he has sat on the Board of Creative Scotland where he chairs Screen Scotland.
Jess Lewis

Events and Content Producer
With a background in museums, Jess Lewis has worked in the charity sector for 20 years. She now produces the Trust’s annual awards as well as the outreach events throughout the year.
Anna McNamee

Executive Director
Anna McNamee is an award-winning broadcast journalist and writer who now leads the work of the Trust to promote excellence in broadcasting about religion, ethics or spirituality.
Anne Smith

Administrator
Anne Smith worked for BBC Radio for 33 years helping producers make documentaries such as ‘Living With The Gods’, ‘Germany: Memories of a Nation’ and the award-winning ‘Don’t Hang Up’.
Rt Rev Nick Baines, Lord Bishop of Leeds

The Rt Revd Nick Baines is the Bishop of Leeds, an experienced broadcaster, writer and blogger Nick will be well known to many from his regular contributions to ‘Pause for Thought’ on Radio 2 and Radio 4’s “Thought for the Day”.
