The face of religious Britain is evolving. Research suggests over the last two decades there has been a dramatic decline in the proportion of people who identify with Christianity, a substantial increase in those with no religious affiliation, and a steady increase in those belonging to non-Christian faiths. Against this back drop What is the point of religious broadcasting? Join us at the Bradford Literature Festival when we’ll be exploring what role religious programming serves in the contemporary context and what place it has in a multi-platform, multi-cultural, multi-faith and increasingly secular Britain.
